HEIDI ANDERSON

Heidi Anderson is a professional performer, singer, character actress and voice over talent with over 20 years of experience on stage. She is a member of the professional theater actors union, Actor's Equity Association and her career as an actress and singer has taken her all over the U.S. She has appeared Off Broadway and on the National Tour of TheatreWorks USA's Phantom of the Opera as Carlotta of which she can be heard on the original soundtrack on Playbill recordings. Heidi is best known for her villainous role in the Regional Premiere of Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Ursula 2011 and 2014) at Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Some of her other favorite roles include: The World Premiere of Disney’s When You Wish (Ursula,Various), Les Miserables (Madame Thenardier), Sister Act! the Musical (Mary Martin of Tours), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Madame de la Grande Bouche), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Brill), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Mrs. Meers cover),The Sound of Music (Mother Abbess), Pack of Lies (Helen Kroger), A Moon for the Misbegotten (Josie), The Murder Room (Lottie Malloy), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Choir Lead Soprano) The Musical Murder Mystery of 1940 (Bernice Roth)  and many more. She has done voice over and commercial work for radio and television and has written and directed small and full scale productions. Heidi received her education at the University of Utah, SUU, DSU, and attended AADA - the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, HB Studios and Weist Barron Studios (Film Acting) in New York City. She was vocally trained by various instructors including Luciano Pavarotti International Contest Winner David Sabella and has taught workshops as well as private voice and acting through the years.
